I have had my garmin 310 xt for about a year. It works really well to monitor bike and run splits. It doesnt work too well to be accurate in the water. I really like the data you can upload from the monitor. very good information. unfortunately i got mine kicked off my arm at IM Cozumel. The unit is lost at the bottom of the ocean !
