Strength training is exercising with resistance.
The Total-Trainer uses
your own body weight for
resistance. There is no need for
numerous heavy weights. You can adjust the percentage of your
body weight that you want to work with, from 4% to 69%. by
moving the incline up or down. This gives you safe and effective
results without the hassle of removing or adding weights. OR...
you can add up to 100lbs weight using the extra weight bar
provided
with every Total Trainer purchase.
Total Trainer
Resistance Formula The

actually exercising directly against your own body weight.
The resistance varies with the angle of the Glide Board
Selecting various heights on the Resistance Rail for the
different exercises represents a varying percentage of your body
weight, from light on the lower levels to very heavy on
the top levels. To increase the resistance further optional

the aging process. For each pound of muscle you build
through exercise your metabolism increases approximately 50
